When Tassimco set out to design their line of LED signs they set the following goals, they had to be lightweight so they are easy to install. They needed to be bright, so they could be seen in the brightest sunlight, but dimmable so they do not blind motorist at night, and they also had to be easy to service in the field.

To make their signs lightweight Tassimco uses an all aluminum housing. For brightness and reliability they used Light Emitting Diodes (LED’s) for illumination. To make their signs easy to service in the field all Tassimco signs are of a modular design. They consist of a housing, display (door) and replaceable LED drive modules. In the unlikely event a Tassimco signs does fail in the field it can be repaired without ever having to take the sign down. Try that with any other manufactures sign.

Tassimco manufactures both Lane Control Signals and Blank-Out Signs using this modular concept. Single and double-sided signs are available with up to eleven (11) different messages per side.
